3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Looks Like a Nice Book. But This is for British "Surveying"By Michael A. BanakThe kind of surveying done in the states is called "Land Surveying"; but is called "Quantity Surveying" in the UK. Thats not what this book is about. This book is about "Surveying" as defined in the UK. In the UK; "Surveying" involves general research into properties. Quantity surveying is one such application. This book is for potential surveyors operating in the UK. So be sure this is what you want.
