Excellent;but NOT a typical book in the seriesBy CustomerI enjoyed this book immensely. Most of the books in the 33 1/3 series go behind the making of the album;but this book is NOT that. Its told in narrative form through the diary of an 80s teen in a mental facility.Rather than detailing click tracks and chords the book focuses on the feeling and mood evoked by the album. What made me enjoy this book so much is that it captures exactly how it feels to be exposed to Black Sabbath for the first time as a kid.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Just....really good.By CidmonsterThis book is part meditation on Black Sabbath; but more importantly the story of a kid feeling powerless and grappling with circumstances beyond his control; and the man that kid becomes. Not quite as good as Wolf in White Van; but if you loved that youll like this. I couldnt put it down.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
