Raumplanung; Note: 1; Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universitauml;t Bonn (Geographisches Institut); Veranstaltung: Spezialseminar: Zum Zusammenhang von demographischer Entwicklung und Siedlungsstruktur; 15 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis; Sprache: Deutsch; Abstract: Vor der Wiedervereinigung Deutschlands konnte die demographische Lage Ost- und Westdeutschlands nur getrennt voneinander betrachtet werden; da sie aufgrund der unterschiedlichen politischen Systeme fast keine Gemeinsamkeiten aufwiesen: Erstens lagen die Geburtenraten in Ostdeutschland seit circa 1976 wesentlich houml;her als die in Westdeutschland; zweitens lag die Lebenserwartung der Mauml;nner als auch die der Frauen in Ostdeutschland unter der Lebenserwartung der westdeutschen Bevouml;lkerung und drittens gab es fast keine internationalen Wanderungsbewegungen in Ostdeutschland; da die Ausreise nach Westen verboten und die Einreise von Westdeutschland oder anderen Lauml;ndern nur sehr begrenzt mouml;glich war. Die Wiedervereinigung der 40 Jahre lang getrennten deutschen Staatsgebiete im Oktober 1990 ging in atemberaubendem Tempo vor sich: Fall der Mauer im November 1989; Wauml;hrungsunion im Juli 1990 und politische Wiedervereinigung im Oktober 1990. Diese radikale Verauml;nderung des politischen Systems brachte sowohl fuuml;r die ostdeutsche als auch fuuml;r die westdeutsche Bevouml;lkerung viele Neuerungen in den unterschiedlichsten Lebensbereichen. Wie sehr sich die politischen Verauml;nderungen auf den Lebensstil und das generative Verhalten der Bevouml;lkerung auswirkten; lauml;sst sich aus der verauml;nderten demographischen Situation ablesen. Abbildung 1 (Dobritz 1998: S.241) zeigt die drastischen Verauml;nderungen der demographischen Indikatoren fuuml;r Ost- und Westdeutschland in den Jahren nach der Wiedervereinigung. Die Geburten-; Heirats- und Scheidungsziffern fielen im ersten Jahr nach der Wende auf extrem niedrige Werte; die Zahl der Schwangerschaftsabbruuml;che und unehelichen Geburten stiegen stark an. Derartige demographische Entwicklungen wurden noch nie zuvor in Friedenszeiten beobachtet.Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es daher; die Entwicklung der Bevouml;lkerung seit 1945 bis heute darzustellen; Erklauml;rungsansauml;tze fuuml;r bestimmte Ereignisse zu liefern und Zukunftsprognosen zu erstellen.

Much like the first book; The Daily Ukulele: 365 Songs for Better Living [DAILY UKULELE] [Paperback]; it is extremely well organized and contains a very large variety of songs. However; compared to the first book; I was a bit disappointed in the selection of songs in the Leap Year edition. A larger portion of these songs seems to be less suited for the ukulele; either not sounding terribly good when played on the ukulele or requiring difficult and/or rarely used chords. I enjoy playing about 1/2 of the songs in the original book (which is quite an accomplishment by the authors). In this version; it probably is more like 1/6 or 1/7 of the songs.It would seem that previous reviewers shared the opposite opinion. This may be because they have more experience with playing the ukelele or more familiarity with some of the songs. For someone who has been playing for less than a year; let me strongly suggest starting with the first version of this book (but not the Kindle version!). Afterwards; I would still recommend buying the Leap Year version. I am happy that I own it and will certainly purchase any further editions that the authors publish.24 of 25 people found the following review helpful. Great mix of songsBy Michael HolzerSome of the less positive reviews complained about the song selections and Id just like to say how much I love the song selections. True; some of the songs (Specifically Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen) are in odd keys. This is to make the songs easier to play on the ukulele and to make the music in the book as accessible as possible.Also; just like the first book; there are traditional songs and pop/classic rock from the 50s on; including some from the 90s and the 00s (which is really cool!)Fear not friends; if you are looking for an addition to your uke music library; you cant go wrong with this book.Also; the plastic comb binding itself is of a much higher quality than that of the first book. Even better than "Daily Ukulele"By GuitargalWe have the Daily Ukulele and love it; but the new Leap Year edition has a lot more songs from the 60s and 70s that we love to sing along with. Excellent book!
