Comprehensive and well illustratedBy Neil BainI have the ebook for online browsing with Kindle Cloud.I have already found several pieces of useful information.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Outdated and outclassedBy LDOriginally published in Japan in 1970; at one time this was a rare color photo book with lots of glass styles. It has 1-3 photos per page. Although titled as "European" it is English and French glass. A single page is devoted to each of these countries: Austria; Belgium; Czechoslovakia; and Germany. There are no photos from Italy or Sweden. There are some nice examples of cameo glass; unusual shapes; and modern styles.Books that will really address your passion for glass are: 1) Sothebys Concise Encyclopedia of Glass which covers a broad range of styles and history; 2) John Sandons Starting to Collect Antique Glass; or 3) Millers Collecting Glass both of which have large varieties of styles and outstanding photos. I own all three as well as others.
