It is not a book of historical designers nor is it a wealth of information on the designers themselves; but it is a nice reference for anyone interested in millinery. My one concern is that most; if not all of the pictures in the book; can be found online. The price isnt bad for them coming bound together; but if you can get a hold of the names of the designers highlighted in the book; you could probably build your own compendium.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Couture HatsBy CustomerThis book provides a very exhilarating and fresh look at hats. Featured designers represent cutting edge work; which invigorates the imagination and inspires creativity. However; I regret that there is not more information on the designers and the context of each hat. For instance; it would be great to read about the themes that inspired the work; as well as the material used to create each piece. Craving Context!0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
