Not as expected; defectiveBy nina ShamsiBrand new arrive sealed; however missing fifteen pages in chapter four; and an additional pages from 235 to 250. Very disappointed.Dont understand how this past the publishers quality controls3 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Text was readable;but E-Book formatting was a Nightmare!By CustomerThe rating has nothing to do with Wells writing; in fact; I found this a more or less average textbook that was fairly easy to follow and not too monotonous to read. However; for ANY person; especially other students who need this book for class; do yourself a favor and buy the physical version!!!! The E-Book formatting is EXTREMELY difficult to deal with. There are random spaces in the text that make it hard to follow; and none of the formatting from the print book carried over; causing it to read in a very broken and confusing way. For instance; there is often an "Artist in focus" subsection in the text; that in the physical version has its own page. In the e-book; this subsection gets just stuck in the middle of a sentence of the normal text! Very confusing; very difficult to find quotes for essays; just poor; poor formatting all around. Cannot say enough how much I hate this e-book and how much you should please;; please buy just the regular book.3 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Moderately impressedBy A CustomerThe book has great knowledge; there just was very little new information. The same information was repeated over and over again and it got very dull. I used this textbook in a class centered around it; and it was perhaps one of the least interesting Ive ever taken.
