NO NO Dont get this Genesis piano book.By Mark WilsonI play a lot of piano music daily and I really liked the Phil Collins piano book Anthology which was fairly easy and most of the songs played out well being an intermediate player. But I wanted to get more of the early music of Genesis; especially the music from Trick of The Tail album. So I ordered the Genesis Anthology thinking it would be good also. But it wasnt at all. In fact I went through the book and tried playing every song and nothing sounded good at all. I was really bombed about that; I almost couldnt believe it; that I couldnt even find one song within that I liked enough to keep the piano book! So I returned it the next day. Unless you are VERY good at piano; then I dont recommend this at ALL. And even if you are; I still dont recommend it.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Great buyBy G. ShaneI really enjoy playing these tunes; especially the older ones like One For The Vine; Mad Man Moon; Heathaze; Blood On The Rooftops; and Many Too Many. They are very faithfully transcribed and capture all the subtle chord variations. They are not dumbed down at all -- they arent afraid to suggest you play five notes with one hand or play in the key of B or F# if the tune calls for it. But as an intermediate player I was able to dive right into these pieces and get results that sounded very much like the recordings. There are plenty of songs that I have no interest in that arent very keyboard-oriented like No Reply At All; Tonight Tonight Tonight; I Cant Dance; etc. but at 350 pages there is enough value in here to have some fluff thrown in too.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Good BookBy pianoguy87First off all; I would like to say that Im a huge Genesis fan and that this was a treat to get. Alot of the songs are from the post Gabriel years so there is not a whole lot of songs from when he was in the group. The book is massive; its almost impossibile to play the piano and turn the pages at the same time. You either have to copy the pages and print them out; or break the spine all together to play the music. The music is intermediate level to play; and it sounds really good on an organ or keyboard to get some of there signature sounds. Anyways; the book has got tons of songs to keep you entertained for hours. 5/5
