Check out other Janet Evan "101 Fun Fact" books also for free....By ElizabethOne observation I have about this book is that is does have a "bad" word in it. I think its completely unnecessary for a book that I would consider a family friendly book. Its on my page 25 on my Kindle Cloud reader under the caption of the Rockhopper Penguin. It states that the penguins yellow plumes and red eyes make it look "angry" all the time. But they dont use the word angry. Dont get me wrong; I have a potty mouth sometimes for sure and I know my kids have heard that word come from my mouth but its not something I would expect in a book like this. Especially when angry could be used instead. That being said....This ebook is offered for free right now so at that price its a 5 star review. ....But even if it wasnt; it would be at least a 4 star reviewing depending on the price. There are some really cute pictures of penguins in the book but not as many pictures as maybe I would like. The pictures are cute and captioned well. But honestly; I really like this book because its just like the title says...101 Super Fun Facts. My kids love Fun Fact books. This book is great because it goes into a little more detail than other "fun fact" kind of books Ive read recently. The book is broken down into about 10 chapters. The first one is the introduction with about 9 fun facts. At the end is a conclusion with a couple short paragraphs about penguins. All the chapters in between talk about different types of penguins including the Adelie; Emperor; and Regal Penguins. So all in all a good book especially for free.Check out other 101 Fun Fact books by Janet Evans. Seems many of them are offered for free and these are great ebook to keep on your device for kids of all ages.***** I received this book for free in exchange for my honest review. *****0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Very pleased with this ebook. It is for all ages even adults.By Mommy to 5 little peanutsWe received this ebook at a reduced cost or free in exchange for an honest review of our opinion of this book and the content. My kids loved this book. They already liked penguins and have watched happy feet many times; and unlike the spider and snake books we also reviewed; non of them were scared when I read this to them. They all enjoyed it. Make sure you drink some water though; man it is a lot of reading. The pictures are crisp and clear and not your normal kids book pictures. They are high quality pictures and I actually wish we had the book in print form because the pictures are so cool. They teach about the different varieties of penguins; their breeding habits; habitat; feeding; size; weight; coloring. They are very in depth in this ebook. They did not gloss over on this one due to it being a kids book. I hope we are selected to review more of these ebooks; because we enjoyed them so much and as a home school mom this is ideal reading material to encourage their minds to explore the world around them and to ask questions and seek answers to those questions. My guys asked more than once to look up info on my phone as we were reading these ebooks. That desire to learn more as a result of reading this is a a huge thing for me as a parent and teacher. If we foster a love of reading in our kids at a young age; they will never lose the desire to learn.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Great graphics and detailed descriptions for the young or old.By TheNicksterHi my name is Nick; I am an old man who helps homeschool my grandkids. I do nature and science and anything to do with anatomy and the like.I will be reviewing Penguins: 101 Fun Facts Amazing Pictures (Featuring The Worlds Top 8 Penguins) Kindle Edition by Janet Evans.I am taking that his is a sample of the real book since I have seen the real book before. I will use this one though for my grand kids. It has enough information and facts to cover that area. There are pictures on about 75 percent of the pages. This book shows the wonderful world of the Penguins and all there wonderful traits. The book is a well rounded understanding of this animal; its structure; feeding routing and the way it behaves. Penguins are such cool creatures and I always try to find the funnest animals for them to learn with. It makes nature so much more enjoyable. The fierce Adelie Penguin is the one I like the best but the awesome emperor penguin is cool too though.Janet has outdid herself this time on the graphics and the details of the descriptions. This comes out great on kindle. The text is easiest enough for the kids to grasp even for young readers.Do not think this book is just for kids. I read it from cover to back on the kindle edition and I loved it myself. I love learning though and seeing things I love in print. You will not be disappointed by reading this or buying the original book. If you donrsquo;t believe pick up your free kindle edition and flip through it.I do get products at a reduced cost or free; not all products I get do I get the freebies or reduced cost but I always put my disclaimer in so I do not forget; if you want to see that I do not always give great reviews then just check them out here https://www..com/gp/profile/A3JKATD6PFKJGM?ie=UTF8ref_=pd_hud_ya_pfThank youThe NickSter
