Further; the organization of the book by topic makes it an easy read. Former and present residents of Crowley should read this book. It will make them proud. As a former resident; I came away with a better understanding and appreciation of the town where I grew up. Ann Mire and the staff of the Acadia Parish Library have provided a succinct;informative and useful book.
