Neil Young - Harvest (Songbook) (Guitar Recorded Versions)

DOC Neil Young - Harvest (Songbook) (Guitar Recorded Versions) by Neil Young in Arts-Photography

Description

John Lennon wrote Skywriting by Word of Mouth; an impressive collection of writings and drawings; during Yoko Onos pregnancy with Sean; and always planned to have it published. The books publication was a wish that seemed to end with Lennons assassination in 1980 and the theft of the manuscript from the Lennons home in 1982. When it was recovered and first published in 1986; Skywriting received immediate critical and popular acclaim. Filled with Lennons extraordinary creative powers and lavishly illustrated with his own drawings; the collection reveals his fertile creative spirit up close and in full force. Included in Skywriting are "Two Virgins;" written when the public learned that John and Yoko were living together as husband and wife; and Johns only autobiography; "The Ballad of John and Yoko." In addition there are notes on his falling in love with Yoko; the breakup of the Beatles; his persecution by U.S. authorities; and his withdrawal from public life. This is a book with John Lennons spirit on every pagemdash;a spirit the world needs to remember.

I have drawn for years and I think this book is a great reminder for me to continually hone in my craft ...By Casey MilbrandI just received my copy of The Art of City Sketching! In a field thats dominated by computer rendering programs; this book is the cure from the monotony of CAD programs. When I was in school I had a few teachers who took the time to show me how to draw. Think of this book as your own personal teacher. Michael Abrams walks you through all the architectural drawing essentials from tone to perspective; 2D to 3D; elevations to sections and the list goes on! I have drawn for years and I think this book is a great reminder for me to continually hone in my craft and continually learn new techniques. Whether you are a teacher who doesnt have time to teach all these techniques; or you are a parent with a student who just started architecture; urban planning; or interior design school; this book will become a classic book for them to look to when they need direction.
