The songs in it are intermediate; but very showy; so they sound harder than they are. My friend and I performed Carol of the Bells at a few Christmas parties and a nativity pageant. It was received very well with lots of; "How do you make your fingers move so fast." It was so much fun because it really only took us a couple of weeks to learn it really well playing together. We are hoping to do another duet next year. Great book with four fun duets. Oh; and I found a few videos of people playing some of the duets online. That is what helped me to decide on this book. Google videos of these songs and it will come up.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Very dramatic but not too difficult and so much fun to playBy JoaninLAThe "Carol of the Bells" arrangement is top notch! Very dramatic but not too difficult and so much fun to play. We just received this last week so my 10 year old daughter and I are rushing to master it in time for the family Christmas "show." Highly recommend on this piece alone. We havent even looked the other 3 yet!0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Love the modern arrangements with close harmoniesBy FWGramI would have given this 5 stars but the book only has 4 arrangements. One reviewer thought the pieces were discordant; but I disagree. If played correctly; I think they have the modern sound a lot of people are looking for - not the same old tired arrangements of the same Christmas arrangements. You do have to play both parts at the same time to get the full sound. Parts played individually will sound a little off but put them together and theyre amazing.
