This is a very special book and WELL WORTH READINGBy nepatiotgalinflI am scrap booking my recent trip to south east Asia and wanted design layoutsI got much much more. The book gave insights to the symbolism important to each of the Asian culturesMany many beautiful examples wit descriptions of how the elements of designs worked togetherThere was a whole section on using fabric Duh! Why havent I ever thought if thatThank you for such a wonderful book1 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Huge disappointment! WOW.By oregongrlI think those other reviews must be from relatives!I got this book and it was VERY disappointing. I think it looks like someone who doesnt have much artistic skill made the pages. About all that makes it "Asian" are the papers (you can buy that at any craft store)a few Chinese coins (who cant come up with that idea) and the kids in the pictures. The layouts are extremely low level and have hardly any creativity.I was so looking forward to this; too bad. Its amazing to me that this book even got published when the layouts are so weak with all the good books on scrap booking that are out there. Glad I only paid 3.99 for it. I hope I can return it!I apologize for this being such so harsh; but I truly feel this is a fair review. Its too low level; and even if you arent artistic; you can do better than this!0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Five StarsBy Gus Saucedothank you
