WashingtonIf you are a new or even if you have had Ableton Live 9 and are not quite flowing in it yet; this book is a must have. I have had Ableton Live since version 8 and had used it to sketch out a few beats; but never did a full production in it. I upgraded to 9 and saw some youtube footage of the author Jake Perrine that really clearly explained some things about Ableton and I was so impress I bought the book. I was not disappointed in anyway. I have gone from beginner to I would say high level intermediate user. I am currently completing an entire EP in Ableton Live and also using it live at performances more frequently now. I think I can honestly say that I know at least 90% of this program as a result of diligently following this book step by step. Being willing to walk through this book enabled me to have more lightning quick work flow so I am able to get ideas down and fleshed out more quickly.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
