Techniques are explained in good detail. I think the DIY bride will appreciate the skill and craftsmanship it takes to create one of Myras exquisite pieces and unless they are extremely gifted; decide it is well worth the money to purchase the original piece of art from the designer. Finding just the right materials; tools and having the time to practice...well...after all that you will then know why quality millinery is priced as it is. I ordered the book for my own millinery library; then had a chance to preview it through KindleUnlimited.
