MarksOK (Easy Guitar Tab White Pages) Irsquo;ll give you a little background on myself and playing level to better understand where Irsquo;m coming from. Irsquo;m now retired; and for as long as I can remember always wanted to learn an instrument like the Guitar. So now with plenty of time; and determination; but not so much speed; and sharpness Irsquo;m underway. With 5 months of practice averaging 3 hours a day; assisted by software herersquo;s my findings; opinions; and review. Of the 203 songs within about (44) I can related to; and would be nice to learn. I think thatrsquo;s a pretty good percentage by comparison to the 5 other books Irsquo;ve purchased. Currently of those approx (6) I can play fairly well and this is because the speed required is slow or moderately slow. I hope that within 6 month Irsquo;ll be able to play 8 more requiring moderate speed; and a year and half from now play at least 36 of the 40. So with 2 years of practice I hope to be an advanced beginner. So thatrsquo;s my opinion on ease of playing content based on my skill. Irsquo;m sure a sixteen year old could master them faster than I can. So; is Easy Tabs an accurate statement? I think so most songs are one note fretting with some very easy chords included. Any difficulty is more a need to develop speed to match song required speed. If they were lay out any easier I donrsquo;t think yoursquo;d enjoy playing them. Itrsquo;s also nice that the songs are complete rather than partial. I think the book contains good variety of song almost insuring something for everyone; and the right amount of challenge for the beginner so that it will be used for quite some time.On the negative side similar to other books songs requiring 3 or more pages in a book this size and structure are difficult to play because of required page flipping. Would have been nice if a CD was included; or web site for downloading multi page songs for printing even at the cost a few dollars more.Finally Irsquo;m glad I purchased this Book and consider it a good value for the price.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
