If you want to learn more about snakes; this book is for youBy Burns WellI think this book would be great for kids; or anyone interested in learning more about snakes. Inside; you will find many interesting facts about snakes; including basic information as well as interesting trivia you likely werent aware of. I was actually very surprised by some of these facts. The book starts by giving some general facts about snakes; followed by sections devoted solely to the most popular and well-known snake varieties. The book is illustrated throughout.I recommend this book to parents who want to encourage their kids to be inspired by nature. Snakes are a very important part of our world. From the various types of venom they produce; to the way they move; snakes continue to inspire technological advancements. And their danger and beauty has been appreciated by artists and nature-lovers since the beginning of time. Give your children the opportunity to be inspired by these modern-day dragons.The only thing I didnt like about this book was some of the formatting. I think the facts are supposed to be numbered; but they all start with a 1. Highly Recommended - Full of Fun Snake Information and PicturesBy Small~Town~GirlMy great nephew and I love to read together. He is five and absolutely adores learning books and quoting facts; already! I figured this series of ldquo;101 Super Fun Facts and Amazing Picturesrdquo; books would be an excellent choice for us to enjoy together. I ordered the eBooks on each of these subjects: Snakes; Penguins; Sea Turtles; Spiders; Dolphins; and Dinosaurs. He loved each of these books.I thought we would just sit down and read all of these books; all in a row; but these are substantial books; so we did two per sitting/day and this worked out well for his age. Despite them being long books with a lot of information for a 5-year-old; he enjoyed them each and they held his interest the whole time; even with a bit of fidgetiness toward the end. He loved choosing the order we read them in and enjoyed each of the subjects equally as much as the others. These books could be written just for him and his interests. There is a lot of information in them and we both learned a lot. I can definitely see us revisiting each of these books over and over in the future; soaking up a little more of that info each time; which is excellent. I have a feeling he will be quoting the facts he learned in these books to his sisters and parents quite a bit.I received these eBooks free in exchange for writing an honest and unbiased review. Again; these are each great books; full of fun and interesting information. We would both recommend them for 5-year-olds and above; in general; depending on the childrsquo;s interest level. Check out the other ebooks Janet Evans offers for free too...By ElizabethThis ebook is offered for free right now so at that price its definitely a 5 star review. ....But even if it wasnt; it would be at least a 4 star reviewing depending on the price.There are some cool pictures of snakes in the book but not as many pictures as maybe I would like. The pictures are captioned well. I really like this book because its just like the title says...101 Super Fun Facts. My kids love Fun Fact books.The book is broken down into about 13 chapters. You can click "look inside" on the main product page on and see the first few pages of the book to see the different chapters. 10 of the chapters talk about different kinds of snakes including the anaconda; boa constrictor; cobra; python and rattlesnake. There are about 9 facts related to each snake.One thing I dont like about this book is that the numbering is off. Instead of being numbered from 1 -101 each fact is numbered 1. There are other books in this series by Janet Evans that are worth looking as as well. At least one of those books has their facts numbered per each chapter (with some wonkiness within a chapter where the numbering starts over. The numbing system that makes the most sense to me is how 1 - 101 because its nice to keep track of how many facts weve already read. Is this is a big deal? It distracting for sure but since the ebook was free its not a huge deal.So all in all a good book especially for free.Check out other 101 Fun Fact books by Janet Evans.
