I like mythology and peplum moviesBy Ivaacute;n Jofreacute;I like mythology and peplum movies; especially the old ones; and; as you know; all that is closely related to masculinity; a changing issue these days. Certainly it is nice to watch those films just because you like them; and that is Ok; but if you are willing to dig up a bit in this book; you will find out an unknown world (at least for me) plenty of interesting ideas and theories about the topic in movies; etc. with detailed analyses and a lot of links; You may agree; disagree or work out your own view; that is the best part; the subject is alive. The book oozes enthusiasm from the cover; with its powerful picture; title and subtitle to the last page. I bought this book together with Fairrsquo;s Mister America and both match perfectly. This book should have been bigger because there are things like Dwayne Johnsons Hercules film which could not be fully reviewed; nevertheless I think you will enjoy it.
