Great book for theory and the like but its over ...By PhotoDanGreat book for theory and the like but its over 4 years old and refers to coming events in 2011!Glad I bought it but think its a bit overpriced for such an outdated book.Update: AWESOME!!! Once past the dated material; the chapters on lenses and lighting are great. This book pushes the envelopeon the subjects and really stretches the mind. It answers questions I either was embarrassed to ask or didnt even know what to ask.Not for the beginner but is invaluable for showing WHY lenses are built the way they are and WHY lights are placed; not just where.I believe this is going to be an invaluable reference.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Very informative book. I was hoping to use it ...By KatAVery informative book. I was hoping to use it as a supplement for a photography course; however; at times; it becomes a little too technical for the high school level and focuses a bit on film and other materials that my students do not have access to.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
