Place Identity; Participation and Planning (RTPI Library Series)

audiobook Place Identity; Participation and Planning (RTPI Library Series) by From Routledge in Arts-Photography

Description

The central concern of this book is place identity; and its representation and manipulation through planning. Place identity is of growing international concern; both in planning practice and in academic work. The issue is important to practitioners because of the impact of globalisation on notions of place. This book includes comparisons between Norway; the Netherlands; Sweden and Scotland; focusing strongly on the question of how different spatial planning systems and practices are currently conceiving and affecting issues of place identity.

Avoid Routledge edition; get SPON PRESS for better qualityBy Nathanael BascomMake sure you dont get the 2013 Routledge paperback which has poor pixelated pictures and text that looks scanned. This book a great VISUAL dictionary and poor quality text/graphics are a serious distraction. I reordered another edition: the SPON Press-Taylor and Francis Group edition; and it has much higher quality drawings and text.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
