It is the exact copy of "An Introduction to Balinese Architecture" by the same author. I bought both thinking they were different books as there is a 10 year span between publications but this is the same book with different title and a different cover. These editions are yet another elaboration of an earlier title covering the same information "Discover Indonesia: Balinese Architecture" published in 1999 by the same author. I guess this publisher keeps trying different titles to try and sell the same book.That said; the book is a valuable resource on Balinese architecture describing the reasons behind its form and function within the Balinese culture. I would have given it five stars if not for the rather deceptive publishing of the various editions under different titles.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
