The first section on Pixar animation is excellent; drifts a bit when it leaves animationBy CustomerI really enjoyed this book as it relates to animation and music. If the book kept to the animation theme and drilled into that a bit deeper I would give it a 5 star; but the book drifts out of pixar animation into live action where I think the books thesis got a bit lost(at least I couldnt follow it). There is about the only book I have found that goes into depth on the film/sound approach on the film "UP"; and how that is a sound design evolution from the other pixar films.
