The book show chapels in the U.S.A. as well as this one in Scotland. The writing is very easy to read; the pictures are wonderful. After seeing the Italian Chapel in Orkney this past summer; the book was a must; so I could learn more about this beautiful chapel. We saw the Chapel on our first visit to Scotland and Orkney in 2000. It is a spiritual and artistic site. Met a man who was bicycling around the world and shared taking pictures of each other. It is a sincere piece of work on the part of an author who seems genuinely moved by his personal discovery of the Chapel; and one senses immediately that this is; above all; a work of love. It is impossible not to be swept up by it. The story will not fail to move you; and you will come away with renewed faith in the way the human spirit can soar even in dark and troubled times.
