This classic book contains a wealth of information on Indian architecture during the Buddhist and Hindu periods; and will make an excellent addition to the bookshelf of anyone with an interest in the subject. This volume deals with the Early; Buddhist and Brahmanical aspect of Indian architecture. In India man’s ideals have found expression in numerous noble monuments showing that few countries possess a richer architectural heritage. To the student the value of these productions needs no emphasis; for from such achievements it is possible to reconstruct much of the past and to visualize the social and political conditions of the country as phase succeeded phase; and one period merged into another.

The only negative is that it doesnt have enough of my favorite songs included. I found the three chord worship book more to my liking- not because I cant play Em (the easiest chord to play actually); but becausethe song offering in the 3-chord book suited me better. Still; Im glad that I purchased both books.8 of 8 people found the following review helpful. Awesome Music BookBy jrandreasenI bought this book after getting the 3 Chord Worship Songs book. It has worked out great because I play with a group of young kids (14-11) who have very limited experience. This book takes the same chords from the 3 Chord book and adds an E Minor so it is a great way to build on skills from the 3 Chord book. Between the two books there are about 50 songs that can be learned and are fairly easy to get down.3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Great book for beginnersBy Chris and SherryI purchased this book to give me some familiar songs to play and expand my ability beyond the simple level one and two "learning to play" books I have been using. Ive wanted to learn guitar for years and finally dove into it. While I still practice 18 different chords from time to time; having four to concentrate on really has improved my ability to play. It also provides individual notes; which I prefer to see while playing.
