Stanislavsky: A Life in Letters

DOC Stanislavsky: A Life in Letters by From Routledge in Arts-Photography

Description

Pirandellos masterpiece; a study in illusion and reality; follows a group of characters who try to fashion their fife stories into acceptable drama. Mr. Brusteins new rendering is accessible; contemporary; and highly speakable while retaining the flavor of the Italian original.

Spectacular BookBy Jonathan CarterWonderfully illustrated (with detailed photographs) book that includes relevant works of art not specifically featured in this glorious book. The book significantly (and I believe accurately) ties much of the early Renaissance art with Christianity (and obviously with classical art and text) is done with unusual clarity; logic; and profound scholarship.7 of 8 people found the following review helpful. GloriousBy Suzanne DelehantyShirley Blum has written an original and compelling account of fifteenth-century art. Blums writing is delicious and clear. Her scholarship is impeccable. The illustrations are abundant and glorious.
