Whether calculating a net present value; assessing an internal rate of return; or considering the impact of debt on a transaction when analysing investments in property it is very hard to get away from the need for cashflows. These cashflows range from the very simple to the extremely complex and can take anything from minutes to days to produce. Of course; valuation software exists that will produce these for you - but sometimes there are situations where you cant avoid having to do the job yourself!

An introduction to PartitionBy Catherine ChandlerThe book was quick and easy to read; and touched upon the key events following the British decision to leave and oversee the partition of India and Pakistan. It was interesting to see a British view of the situation; especially as the Mountbattens were put in an incredibly difficult position. Definitely inspired me to read more on the subject.6 of 7 people found the following review helpful. Very disappointingBy HopewelLibraryofLifeI anxiously awaited Lady Pamelas book only to be very disappointed in the result. The photos are great as are many of the little memories. An 18 year old; fresh out of school probably isnt the best observer of any events. Her diary entries do add a lot to the personality of the players [for instance her beloved father nagged her to write her diary!] but overall this is a not a very useful book. Campbell-Johnsons "Mission with Mountbatten" is far more useful for a real account of the transfer of power.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Interesting bookBy D. MatthewsIm glad I ordered this book even tho it took over the amount of estimated shipping time to reach me. It is packed with photos and is an interesting memoir of an important time in world history. Ive been to India many times and so was intrigued by the title of this book. I have already read a biography of Edwina Mountbatten. This book fill out the time frame so much more.
