This would be way above my budget if purchased new and all at once; but gradually finding reasonable prices on good used volumes is quite economical. This guide book is excellent; sharing insights about the relationships between the illuminations; the text; and the calligrapher and artists working to bring out the beauty of the words. The author asks thoughtful questions of the reader; while telling the story of how it was all done.
