It has a foreword written by a professional songwriter who has had numerous songs purchased. The listings are easy to read with specific guidelines. The more specific a listing the better I like it. So much better than trying to send songs over the transit without background info on the person/company you are querying (and really a waste of time). I know Artists hate rules; but one is really wasting their time and postage (which most of us cannot afford to do) if we send it to the wrong market for the genre of song; etc. I also plan to purchase many of the other helpful books theyve listed in the foreword of this book. They have done most of the work for us; researching and sending queries about guidelines and desired genres/formats from the listed markets. I know that no book in its self will make you successful; but the information provided in this book couppled with putting in the time and faith in your music or songwriting ability will set you on the right path and as the old saying goes; hard work will lead to success. Outdated InformationBy Vonee WilliamsThere was some informative information however; a lot of it was outdated. I ran into a lot of conflicting information once I reached out directly to the sources. This book has 2015 so I thought it would have the most up to date info in it but it did not. A little disappointed.
