The 8.5 by 11" is a good sized format to study the drawings easily. The reproductions are very good as well as the color.I like the introduction wherein many interesting facts of the artist and his subjects are given. It is a bit too light on technique; but; I feel this to be a very minor fault in the overall.I would easily recomend this book to anyone interested in the subject and or the artist.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Well done; but not perfect.By BudSome one should tell the publisher that one of the plates in the book is printed upside down.Trapeze Volant would be very difficult to be successful if mounted as shown.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Toulouse-Lautrecs Circus DrawingsBy BillPI had this book when I was a kid. Now it is an inspiration and I truly appreciate the mans art; the fluidity of his line and the incredible grace and elegance of his images.
