PDF The Essential Ian McHarg: Writings on Design and Nature by Ian L. McHarg in Arts-Photography

Description

Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich Kunst - Installationen; Aktionskunst; moderne Kunst; Note: 1;3; Carl von Ossietzky Universitauml;t Oldenburg; Sprache: Deutsch; Abstract: ldquo; My work is about space and the light that inhabits it. It is about how you confront that space and plumb it with vision. It is about your seeing; like the wordless thought that comes from looking into fire.rdquo;(Turrell; 2008)Der Licht- und Environmentkuuml;nstler James Turrel beschauml;ftigt sich intensiv mit Licht und dessen Perzeption; auf deren Modifikation er abzielt.

Well presentedBy JuneKim Hartswick delivers a poignant observation of the Gardens of Sallust; in which a great deal of attention is dedicated to details that lend such gardens their value. In doing so; the author paints a beautiful picture the historical value that the Horti Sallustiani retains. Hartswicks work takes the time to survey the layout of the gardens; and delves into finer details; including an analysis of the structure and the sculptures obtained from the gardens. Hartwick research on the topic is thoroughly a well-rounded study; unparalleled by others on the topic.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.
