It also show the balance lines of a horse in motion. Some of the pictures has a realistic spirit cross drawing style to them.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Not a good book if you actually know horses. IncorrectBy Kelly ColaIf youre a non- horseman or woman; then this book is probably ok. The author has attempted to depict equine anatomy correctly but fails. If youre a horse person it is notable immediately that the pictures arent actually correct. The face is too wide the ears arent set exactly right. The horses are; quite simply; created by an artist doing his best but failing. If you really want to see a good horse artist there are good ones. Don Shultz is superb and has a book out "Horses Heads in Oils and Pastels." I believe he has another book on the entire horse. Sam Savitt; CW Anderson; Angie Draper are a few top artists. The deceased Sam Savitt has an excellent book; "How to Draw Horses with Sam Savitt."
