That being said; as a musician myself i have always been drawn stronger to the artists who compose; sing; play; present themselves in a way that is theirs alone. Kate is one of them. I think this book strikes the perfect balance between loving its subject; telling stories; praising and casting a critical eye. For me; the best part was responding to Kate as she talked about creating music. I found some similar points with her.
