The biggest issue would be that the material is very dense and takes multiple reads to understand. At the same time it could just be the fact that my professor has to read the book during the class and he is trying to figure it out himself as he teaches each chapter. Im using this for a US Urban Experience class and we have just finished using this text and are moving on to a much more enjoyable academic read in Jane Jacobs "The Death and Life of Great American Cities".For all I know the next edition could be amazing and I should of took the class next semester when my college switched to the new edition.
