Be aware that as the articles included in the book were written during a time period ranging over several centuries; some are real old French. But there are enough varieties to meet anyones taste if its OK with you not to read every single article in the book. These fables are a way of introducing the lessons of life to quite small children. One remembers these stories and the messages they convey all throughout life.
