Good for the basics on the industry machineBy MeThis is a basic introduction to the industry; which you will find useful if you havent much knowledge of the film industry. I wouldnt so much recommend it to people who know about the industry already but who are just looking for a handy guide to refer to as a refresher from time to time. The main problem is that it although it is up-to-date insofar as discussing digital etc; it feels outdated in that its kind of from a conservative; Hollywood status-quo point of view; explaining how things *ought* to be. But the people who might need or use this book are probably going to find the old accepted way of doing things to be restrictive or at odds to what theyre experiencing in the independent world.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
