ldquo;Glam was about make-up; mirrors and androgyny. It was narcissistic; obsessive; decadent and subversive. It was bohemian; but also strangely futuristic. It was Oscar Wilde meets A Clockwork Orange. It was a mutant bastard offspring of glitter. But while glitter was sparkling distraction; glam was anarchy in drag. It was sexy; glamorous; on the edge.It was the moment hippie finally died. It was absolutely rockrsquo;nrsquo;roll. But it was also fashion; art; theatre; lifestsyle. It was gay; straight; multisexual. It was totally titillating and absolutely naughty. Everybody held hands with everybody; kissed everybody; went home with everybody. It was an age of accelerated discovery; when all the kinks of sexual yearning were flushed out. It was absolutely self-indulgent and it was ridiculously camp.It was a time we thought would never end. A time so long ago now it seems like a dream. But it wasnrsquo;t and I have the pictures to prove it.rdquo;Mick Rock

Oustanding as UsualBy RichardJustin Sandercoe has developed the best overall program to teach the guitar to beginners; intermediate; and advanced students. By far his pedagogical skills are beyond any music or guitar teacher I have ever come across. This book has the songs I grew up with and Justin does a fantastic job of transferring information to the student.Check out his web site; who else offers entire guitar courses on video for free? No one.I have purchased directly from Justins website all the DVDs hes released and all his books; you will be amazed at how much you will learn from Justin provided you do your part.2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Great way to learn guitarBy BuddI really like Justins guitar songbooks and love his online videos (youtube). Thanks Justin! I would have given this 5 stars but think some of the instructions could be clearer; such as a better legend for some of the notations on his strums.3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Justin is simply the best teacherBy Sean HartleyThis book is really well done. Awesome songs. The songs typically arent all tabbed out; forcing you to do the work to get it sounding exactly like the original recordings. Justins accompanying YouTube videos are awesome as well. I have this and two other of his books and I will own them forever.
