NOBy Jarl de BoerThere are better and more interesting books about the Watkins Glen venue.Adding "International" in the title allows the son of the original organizer of the re-start of road racing in America after WWII to cover professional NASCAR racing to the exclusion of what the early amateur races were all about. If you like early "stock" car racing; buy; If you want coverage of the early street races; dont bother.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Book ReviewBy David E. ArnoldThere are many better and more thorough books on the subject. This one fits a niche publishing format; not a thorough story-telling format. But thats how this publisher works; and thats ok.0 of 1 people found the following review helpful. One StarBy andrew holmesboring...too much NASCAR face time...Watkins Glens history is far more interesting and this book has the wrong focus
