While we mere mortals can only balk at the artistic feats `Il Divino produced during his life; this book shows just much Michelangelo managed to achieve artistically.Split into three main parts; the book charts Michelangelos output as a sculpture; painter and architect; and the set up allows for appropriate analysis of his mastery over each different art form. The text; while adding nothing new to the mix; gives a good analysis of Michelangelos contributions to each form and gives us a glimpse into the factors and traist that enabled him to achieve so much. The images are well reproduced and laid out; and compile some of his greatest artworks. While Ill never be able to understand how one man could be so gifted; I sure enjoy looking at the results of Michelangelos genius. This is a worthy book for one of the greatest artists of all time.
