Not enough pictures!!By lemnlimeI didnt like how the pictures are all in BW in this book; and the few pictures that actually are included are too small to make out the finer details. This book mentions a ton of artwork that is not shown. Maybe the author thought you would be reading this book and googling pictures of the artwork as you go since that would be easier than reading the 1000 words. The book isnt very long and just skims over huge expanses of history; especially the coolest part which was ancient Greek and Roman war art. The critique of the artwork is thoughtful; I just wish they made the book thicker to fit in more pictures.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. I really liked the way she writes and its inevitable to gain another perspective of War Art.But this really good book seems to be some sort of abstract of her entire research; you just keep asking and asking for more information.I really recommend this book.
