It contributes little of value either as a theoretical reflection on the nature of hauntings or even as a travel guide; I suppose it is mainly a catalogue. I was also annoyed by several inconsistencies; where a person is named one thing in one place and then something slightly different a paragraph or page later ("Richard" becomes "Robert;" vel sim.). Grammatical mistakes are rife; and there are even mathematical errors (in calculating time-spans; even when specific dates have been given). It looks like no editor ever read through this text with a fine-toothed comb.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
