Prefer the original translations; but worth evaluating.By Ernest AbubaWorthwhile having to compare to the original translations.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Much better than I expected!By NicI need this book for a class on Marxism so I ordered it over the break and started reading it. Its a fantastic play so far. I find it really funny; but I have an odd sense of humor to be honest. I tried looking to see if I could find a dvd of a production of it; and I came up short. The scenes are really short; but the story is really good. Mother Courage is a fantastic character. This is the first work by Brecht that I have read and Im going to see if I can find his other work at my campus library if I ever get time to read something that isnt for class.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
