The Taming of the Shrew (Propeller Shakespeare)

DOC The Taming of the Shrew (Propeller Shakespeare) by William Shakespeare; Roger Warren in Arts-Photography

Description

The book is very small; with grainy black and white photos; and small font. The text about each designer is broad; and not informative. Wikipedia does a better job than this author; which is sad. I consider myself a novice of Japanese design; but Im very interested in it; so its unfortunate when you buy a book a dont learn much from it. Buyer beware- its a total waste of money.10 of 10 people found the following review helpful. Good info; well researched but flawed book.By LGCThis book is the perfect starting point if you want to do research on the japanese fashion/clothing designers and their work. It explains much not only about their work in general but also about their techniques and philosophies. However; as the other reviewer pointed out; the book is flawed. My copy is missing pages 17-48 and substituted them with pages 81-112; which are again repeated in the order later on. This proved to be a major stepback in my research. I dont believe I can return the book as I already marked it with my notes.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. perfectBy AlmaPerfect guide to understand the Japanese contemporary fashion design.
