Illustrations not dated to specific yearBy meThis is a good book for covering mens childrens wear as well as womens; but none of the illustrations are dated; which makes it less useful overall.0 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Three StarsBy candeeo.k.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Best.By RochelleThis book is practically magic for a costume enthusiast. Not only can you see the finished outfits; you can see how much they originally cost; what people wore with them *and* under them; and there are descriptions of each and every garment! Most of the images are in sepia tone; but man alive; those color ones in the middle are so vibrant and lovely! Ugh; the shoes alone are worthy of their own book. If you like 20s fashion and you want to know more; BUY THIS NOW. Or just buy a bunch of Montgomery Ward catalogs. But this would probably fit on your shelf better.
