My 12 year old has successfully made several of the items. I was worried they would need other materials (shoes; bags; etc) but has made a bow tie; back pack; pens (easy to find around the house) and a cell phone case. They look much better than I expected! However; Im not a stupid person and do all sorts of arts and crafts yet I found the instructions very difficult to interpret and/or to follow. I was also disappointed to find out that you must spend a considerable amount of money to buy the supplies needed for each project. Ill eat most of the blame for that comment since unless you find Duct Tapetrade; on Clearance; its not cheap; by any meansmdash;I should have taken that into consideration; especially since I live on a fixed income.
