DOC The Weekend Makeover: Get a Brand New Life By Monday Morning by Jill Martin; Dana Ravich in Arts-Photography

Description

This clearly written guide to the Stanislavski method has long been a favorite among students and teachers of acting. Now; in light of books and articles recently published in the Soviet Union; Sonia Moore has made revisions that include a new section on the subtext of a role. She provides detailed explanations of all the methods that actors in training have found indispensable for more than twenty years. Designed to create better actors; this guide will put individuals in touch with themselves and increase personal sensitivity as well.

I like Finland and Finns- from the Finnish swearing in Pentti; I was convinced Emma Rendell was a native; but shes a Swede! My friends always told me the Swedes were snotty when it came to their neighbours (and former subservients); but this story is well done.Im not a fan of Rendells human figures- Pentti and Co are swollen babies; Deathgirl looks like Art of Phos bastard child. Its the background art that is beautiful- the detailed pine forest; the bird holding the Finnish flag...The stories are good- Pentti is a repressed homosexual; and Deathgirls parents get her. The book will suit Scandinavian audiences- its a bit too weird and dark for others.
