Thirty Studies; Opus 107: For Flute (Kalmus Edition)

PDF Thirty Studies; Opus 107: For Flute (Kalmus Edition) by Sigfrid Karg-Elert in Arts-Photography

Description

It is most interesting to know that nowadays the recorder has more admirers than ever before. Especially the treble recorder is most suited to be played in the home circle. There exists a lot of music for this particular instrument already; mainly of the period from Bach to Mozart. The works of the great masters during the above mentioned period; such as Bach; Handel; Telemann; Mattheson; etc.; require a high technical proficiency. The object of this booklet is to familiarize the player with this technical proficiency; by means of special exercises.

While Adamss Batman; Green Lantern; and Deadman work has been collected in previous releases; this is the first effort by DC to collect ALL the rest of Adamss DC work--much of it reprinted for the first time ever.Plus; these are must-haves; even if you already own the original comics. These volumes feature new touch-ups from Adams himself. But the biggest plus is they all feature ALL-NEW computer coloring! Neal Adams never looked better! (The only things about old comics I dont love is the poor coloring and printing.) Purists might not like the changes; but I enjoy them.Perhaps the greatest feature is the complete collection of all Adamss DC work. No more buying expensive comics just for the cover art or for just a few interior pages. Its all here and never looked better. This volume goes in more or less chronological order of work produced for DC Comics. It includes: an Elongated Man story; three issues of Teen Titans; a Clark Kent story; reproduced PENCILS (a rarity) of a promotional Superman story; various Batman sketches; and a number of Adamss war stories including Enemy Ace.The only drawback here is that the image provided by is not the actual cover; nor is it anywhere in this volume.Id give this book TEN stars if I could.EDIT: Well; its obvious that this series has been aborted. As of 2016; DC still has not reprinted all of Adamss covers from that era. What a shame.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Three StarsBy john lucasLovely more obscure Adams only occasionally marred by adams insistence on reinking and new digital recoloring.19 of 19 people found the following review helpful. A great look at Adams other work at DCBy Brian ReavesNeal Adams was a busy man at DC for a while. His legendary work on Batman has already been released in a 3 volume set of its own; and his years on Green Lantern/Green Arrow and Deadman are also out there. This collection is some of Neals lesser-known work during those same golden years but before Batman really took off for him. As a result; this first volume is a little short on superhero stories and leans more on war stories to fill the gap.It starts with an Elongated Man story; followed by a 3-part Teen Titans adventure that include an appearance by Hawk Dove. After that we have a Superman story in which he stays Clark Kent through the whole thing; some sketches of PSAs Neal did with Superman; and a few sketches of an updated look for Batman and Robin that never took off. Then were off to mostly the war stories from that point on. Anything Neal does is great though; so you cant complain about them. They are interesting; especially considering DCs limitation of "no wounds; no blood" for their war stories during the time. Neal had to rely on emotion and action to tell the stories; not gory brutality like we see in so many books today. The quality of this book is the same as the hardcover editions of Batman Illustrated; which means the paper is a thick stock and the colors are good. I really enjoyed this little trip through some otherwise-obscure stories we might have missed; and look forward to the next volume!
