The memories of it had such an impact on my life that even now; living in an area of the country that doesnt often have tornadoes; I cant live in a house without a basement. The book is filled with photographs of the aftermath of that horrible afternoon. I remember my mother yelling at me to stay under the bed and the next memory was being carried out by the old next door neighbor in a scratchy wool blanket. Its a miracle the death count wasnt higher. I was too young at the time to understand the loss; my condolences to all who lost or hurt from this tragedy.
