0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. this book was a great find! its full of information on the first ...By Hal Inghamthis book was a great find! its full of information on the first oregon surf club;with great pictures taken by the auther; who also started the surf club. scott blackman inspired the neighborhood kids to start surfing; and what a wonderful surprise to find pictures of a windsurfing; and kitesurfing buddy; ive known for almost 30 years. pictures of him on the nose crouching in the tube at the point;in seaside on the first board he made himself; i think that would have been late 60s or early 70s; the beginning of short boards. another picture of him in 1985;with a third place trophy at the cowabunga longboard contest; and another picture in 2007; at scott blackmans 70th birthday party! i think id better get him to autograph my copy. id always admired his board makeing; both windsurf; and kitesurf boards; and surf skills; but he never let on to his fame. ive just started collecting social security; im working less and with this book; and an easy read map of oregon; im planning my first sup; and kitesurf trip to oregon.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
