Outside of that; this book is filled with a fun sense of exploration and unhinged creativity that is sure to broaden perspectives and delight readers of all ages. The many messages are cleverly woven into the story without smacking you in the face; and I greatly enjoyed joining soldier boy on his hallucinatory journey into the world of art. Steven Applebys illustrations also make the book itself a gorgeously put together; classy piece.
