I found this book of interesting designs that look like hand knit Aran sweaters but they are crocheted. A sweater like this in knitting would have taken me months but these go quickly and dont look so "home-made". There is also a sequel that I plan on getting. I got the PDF and also a copy for my iPad. The PDF was a quick download and I can make the necessary copies for working. Well worth a look. Mostly good instructions with all the necessary instructions for stitches in the back of the book. I found the sizes worked pretty true but I ended up using one hook larger than suggested to get the right scale. Be sure to do a test patch. You need to get a conversion to ounces or yards because the number of balls used per sweater are in yarns used in England.
