Richard III brings the Wars of the Roses cycle of history plays to a close in bloody fashion. Arguably Shakespearersquo;s most villainous king; we watch in horror and delight as Richard murders his way to the throne; unable to resist his cruel wit and dark humour. This is a hugely entertaining and diabolical adventure that tells the story of one manrsquo;s journey to heaven; then back to hell.

I know these two are at the top of their game so I was expecting more both in the quality of the portraits; and in the text from an educational or instructional standpoint. Dont get me wrong; the images are good; but no real wow moments. Most examples are at the golden hours; making it much easier to produce a fairly compelling image. The few images that were taken in the height of the sun used well known and simplistic methods to overcome the pitfalls of midday shoots; and produced above average but not stunning results. I liked the lighting diagrams and the detail given on the settings used; but felt there were a lot of gaps regarding why they made the various lighting and settings choices they did. All examples are family portraits and mostly full length. Theres no close crops to see the finer details of the effects of the lighting; shadows; skin tones etc.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
